I have been a Personal Trainer for 3 years, having completed my diploma with Premier International. My daily routine involves working with clients from a diverse range of backgrounds, lifestyles and age groups in a number of different locations with the goal of improving their health, wellbeing and fitness.
I am qualified and experienced in using traditional cardiovascular and resistance machines, free weights and body weight exercises as well as using more innovative functional approaches such as TRX suspension trainer, boxing, Vipr and kettlebells.
In addition to my freelance work I am also a Sports Centre Supervisor at Queen Mary's College, Basingstoke where I have responsibility for managing the centre/staff and use my health related fitness qualifications to co-ordinate the fitness programmes both in the gym and the studio. This enables me to write programmes for our members and teach group functional circuit classes. The most recent development has been that I now oversee an NHS referral scheme for obese patients, working with them to improve their BMI, introduce them to exercise and reduce their weight. Over the years I have had a long, slow battle with my own weight problems which I feel helps me empathise with my clients.
If you are looking for a Personal Trainer who understands your individual needs and is able to work with you to achieve your goals and to encourage and motivate you then please give me a call.
